I am so excited to share that I am one of the 20 new ambassadors for The Container Store! This means for the next 6 months I will be tackling various projects and sharing some tips with you along the way. As a busy physician, wife and mother of two organization is key to maximizing our space, time and increasing efficiency in our household. The Container Store is an organizer’s dream!

This month we are working on bathroom organization! Since I spend so much time here I wanted to create a space that would make it easier for me to find items I need and also aesthetically pleasing. If you have watched The Home Edit on Netflix then you will love some of their new bathroom organization products for both the bathroom countertops and also under the sink.
Bathroom organization may seem a little overwhelming at first. But if there is one room that could use a lot of organization, the bathroom would definitely be at the top of my list. Make up brushes, Bobby pins, safety pins, hygiene products, lotions, perfumes, blow dryer, curling iron and the list goes on.

Remember, every item needs a home. The thing with bathroom products is that they can easily get misplaced because we tend to toss them in the abyss of a random drawer never to be seen again. I love organizer draw trays for keeping a lot of miscellaneous items such as Bobby pins, headbands, nail clippers, and toiletries where they are organized and easily visualized. Cotton balls and Q-tips do great in apothecary jars. Clear, stackable organizing bins are great for organizing makeup up brushes and lipstick.

And if you think organizing your bathroom is just to be aesthetically pleasing then think again. Organization leads to an improvement on routines. If I can’t find a makeup brush or my blush or a nail clipper then I waste precious time looking for an item. However, if each item, no matter how small has a designated space then I always know where to find it and where to put it when I am done using it. This makes mornings and evenings a lot less stressful.

The hardest part is starting. So get those organizing and stackable trays ready and tackle each drawer one by one.
Let me know your progress below!
